Publication of DoWEA Administrative Instruction 2500.15 Special Education Compliance

This issuance was signed on April 6, 2026. It establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and implements procedures for the provision of Special Education services to eligible dependents within DoWEA. It ensures compliance with applicable federal laws and DoW regulations and supports the delivery of high-quality services to children with disabilities, in accordance with IDEA, and DoDI & DoDM 1342.12. This issuance cancels the August 28, 2001 version of DoDEA AI 2500.10 Special Education Dispute Management System. Please contact the Student Services Division with any questions.
