Pentagon Employee Assistance Program

The Pentagon Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides assessment, counseling, referral, management consultation, and coaching services. The EAP will help you resolve personal problems that may adversely impact your work performance, conduct, health, and well-being. To set up an appointment for short-term counseling, call 571-372-5617. The office is located in Room B1E02-A.


Office of the Secretary Defense/Joint Staff Welfare & Recreation Association

The Welfare and Recreation Association (WRA) furnishes information to DoD employees regarding discounted tickets for theater, movies, theme parks, sightseeing activities, and sporting events. Free membership is available to DoDEA employees, and you may obtain a membership card by calling 571-372-5740, Mark Center, B1 Conference Room 1.


DoDEA Physical Fitness Pilot Program

Eligible employees may be authorized up to 3 hours of excused absence per week, with supervisory approval, to participate in physical fitness activities at DoDEA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA. Authorized activities include cardio, strength training and endurance, and yoga and stretching classes.

To be eligible to participate, you must be a full-time civilian employee and have a satisfactory performance. Contact your supervisor to obtain and submit the enrollment package.


The Gym at Mark Center

The Gym at Mark Center offers affordable fitness in a beautiful facility with state-of-the-art equipment, luxurious locker rooms, and fitness experts who can help get you started. All active duty, retired, reserve military and DoD civilian employees are eligible to become members. Please contact Mark Center gym for most current information on pricing.
