Pacific East District Advisory Committee (PEDAC)

The PEDAC is a mechanism for DoWEA District Leadership and representatives of key stakeholder groups to foster communication, facilitate problem solving, and provide recommendations to the Regional Advisory Council (RAC) as appropriate. Members of the DAC work collectively to enhance and improve the delivery of educational programs and support services to DoWEA students. Membership includes DoWEA District Leadership, military installation commanders, parent representatives, and school liaisons. DAC meetings are held two times a year, and all community members are welcome to attend. Please contact the District Office with any questions.

Installation Advisory Committee (IAC)

The IAC serves as an advisory body to the District Superintendent and the local military installation commander on matters related to the education of military-connected students within their shared jurisdiction. Each IAC advises on issues concerning dependents’ education and provides a forum for communication and collaboration among key stakeholders, helping to identify concerns, discuss educational programs and services, and offer recommendations that support student achievement and well-being. Through this partnership, the committee works to ensure that the needs of dependents are effectively represented and addressed within the DoWEA school system. Installations with two or more schools are required to establish an IAC.
