Kaiserslautern Elementary School is part of the Europe East School District and has a student population of approximately 500 with a faculty of 70.
Students come from villages surrounding our area and living on base near our school. Students who live in housing on Vogelweh attend Vogelweh Elementary school, which is just across the main road from our school.

School Objective #1: By the end of SY 21-22, Kaiserslautern Elementary School will strengthen implementation of College and Career readiness for all students by ensuring all classrooms teaching Literacy skills reflect standards-based instruction as measured by performance on the DoDEA CCR Summative Assessment by a targeted baseline of 47% on SY 2020-21 initial assessment and a 2% increase (over baseline) of students “meeting or exceeding expectations” on SY 21-22 assessment.
School Objective #2: By the end of SY 2021-2022, KES will strengthen implementation of College and Career readiness for all students by ensuring all classrooms teaching mathematics reflect standards-based instruction as measured by performance on the DoDEA CCR Summative Assessment by a 10% increase of students “meeting or exceeding expectations” over 2 years (5% increase SY 20-21 and an additional 5% SY 21-22).
