Mission

The Technology and Innovation Division mission is to create and inspire a culture of innovation, transforming teaching and learning for our military-connected students.

Vision

We will leverage technology and innovation to provide military-connected students with an equitable, inclusive, culturally responsive education. During the next 5 years:

• DoDEA Virtual School will extend opportunities and enhance blended learning instruction across DoDEA. 
• Educational Technology will promote and support digital learning as an essential component of teaching and learning in DoDEA. 
• Information Center programs and resources will be embedded into curricula and be an essential part of each student’s educational experience. 
• Instructional Design Services Branch will incorporate innovative practices that provide exemplary virtual learning experiences for students and educators.
