Landstuhl Elementary School (LES) is a PSCD, K-5 school located in Landstuhl, Germany. The school is located in the Rheinland-Pfalz state of Germany, about one hour southwest of Frankfurt. The original building for the school was built in 1955 and there have been several additions added, with the last one in 2008. Construction of our new 21st Century school is scheduled for sometime in 2022. Many of the students at the school have parents who work at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, which is the largest military hospital outside of the continental United States.
In 2020, LES was recognized as National Blue Ribbon School. With the strong focus on shared leadership, Landstuhl ES has embodied the spirit of "One Team One Dream" and as a result performed in the top 5 percent of all DoDEA schools throughout the globe.

By the end of SY 21-22, Landstuhl Elementary School will strengthen implementation of College and Career readiness for all students by ensuring all classrooms teaching Literacy skills reflect standards-based instruction as measured by performance on the DoDEA CCR Summative Assessment by a targeted baseline of 45% on SY 2020-21 initial assessment and a 5% increase (over baseline) of students “meeting or exceeding expectations” on SY 21-22 assessment.
By the end of SY 2021-2022, Landstuhl Elementary will strengthen implementation of College and Career readiness for all students by ensuring all classrooms teaching mathematics reflect standards-based instruction as measured by performance on the DoDEA CCR Summative Assessment by a 10% increase of students “meeting or exceeding expectations” over 2 years (5% increase SY 20-21 and an additional 5% SY 21-22).
