Welcome to Maxwell Elementary Middle School (MEMS)! On behalf of our faculty and staff, I welcome our returning and new families to the 2022-2023 School Year. We are committed to the DoDEA Mission of providing excellence in education for every student, every day, everywhere. As the principal of MEMS, I wholeheartedly embrace the challenge of ensuring all our students have access to a safe, engaging, high quality education.

At Maxwell, students and staff are encouraged to SOAR:  Be Safe, On-task, Accountable, and Respectful. These qualities are emphasized, encouraged, and taught throughout MEMS to ensure our students learn life skills that will prepare them to be excellent students, citizens, and humans.

We encourage our parents to stay in touch and involved in their child’s education. Research shows that parent involvement is one of the greatest indicators of student success. At MEMS, we believe that a strong partnership between staff and parents creates a superior environment for our students. Together we can make the biggest difference in children’s lives.
