Executive Services Division

Mission

The Executive Services Division provides Operations Support and Correspondence Management for the Department of Defense Education Activity. The Executive Services Division is also charged with effectuating legally mandated programs such as the Federal Records Act, the Freedom of Information Act, and the Privacy Act of 1974. In addition, ES serves as the focal point for DoDEA’s major information and electronic governance initiatives.

To be the preeminent provider of information management services to the Department of Defense Education Activity.


Correspondence Management

Administers the correspondence management processes designed to efficiently and effectively capture and preserve documents for the Department of Defense Education Activity.

The Records and Information Management Program is responsible for oversight and implementation of the Federal Records Act for the Department of Defense Education Activity.

Supports all actions related to Freedom of Information requests submitted by the public for access to records under the control of the Department of Defense Education Activity.

Administers and provides guidance and direction to employees of the Department of Defense Education Activity as it relates to the Privacy Act, Information Collection, and Forms Management Programs.
