Ms. Linda Bryant
Biography
Ms. Linda Bryant began her career with DoDEA in 2000 as an elementary teacher at Fort Bragg, NC. Throughout her tenure, she has held multiple leadership roles, including grade-level chair and Continuous School Improvement chair. She has also mentored student teachers and facilitated professional development focused on mathematics curriculum.
After nearly a decade at Fort Bragg, Ms. Bryant continued her educational journey outside of DoDEA, serving in Virginia and Texas as a classroom teacher, lead teacher, and instructional coach. In her roles as an instructional coach, she enhanced teacher capacity and provided support to strengthen instructional practices that drove student achievement.
In 2020, Ms. Bryant returned to Fort Bragg as an Instructional Systems Specialist (ISS) for Elementary Mathematics. In this role, she supported schools, administrators, and teachers by facilitating collaborative planning, promoting effective instructional practices, and delivering professional development designed to enhance student engagement and achievement.
In 2023, Ms. Bryant became the Assistant Principal of Kimberly Hampton Primary School. There, she prioritized strengthening community engagement, advancing instructional practices, and promoting the effective integration of digital technology for primary students.
Ms. Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Troy University and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Fayetteville State University. She further advanced her expertise by earning a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University, preparing her to lead with both instructional depth and administrative excellence.
With over 25 years of educational experience, Ms. Bryant is honored to serve as Principal of Gordon Elementary for the 2025-2026 School year. As a proud product of the DoDEA school system and an Army spouse, she remains deeply committed to serving the military community and understands the value of fostering strong relationships among students, staff, and families. Ms. Bryant is dedicated to cultivating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child can thrive as a lifelong learner.
