Course Description

Anthropology is a (semester) behavioral science course that focuses on the study of humanity and culture. The broad scope of this course covers on the study of early and contemporary human beings that is relative to their cultures and physical environments. Course specific content includes the diversity of human behavior, the evolution of language development, social institutions, religion, the arts, physical and mental traits, and similarities and differences among cultures. Course Note: This course fulfills the Social Studies Elective (.5) requirement.
