AP English Language

The online AP English Language and Composition (year-long) course is designed to align with introductory college-level rhetoric and writing curricula. The course engages students to develop evidence-based analytic and argumentative essays while developing a personal style through appropriate grammatical choices. Students will evaluate, synthesize, and cite research to support arguments. Students will read and analyze rhetorical elements and their effects on non-fiction texts from many disciplines and historical periods.
