AP Physics C Mech S
AP Physics C: Mechanics is equivalent to a one-semester, calculus-based, college-level physics course, especially appropriate for students planning to specialize in physical science or engineering. The College Board recomments that students should have taken or be concurrently taking calculus. AP Physics: Mechanics is typically the first in the sequence of the AP Physics courses and AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism builds upon the constant of AP Physics: Mechanics. This course explores topics such as: kinematics; Newton's laws of motion; systems of particles and linear momentum. Introductory differential and integral calculus is used throughout the course. Course Note: This course satisfies the Science (.5 credit-Physics of 3 credits) graduation requirement. Unweighted
