Commercial Art

The Commercial Art (year-long) course aligned to DoDEA College and Career Ready Standards Arts, CCRSA (National Core Art Standards, NCAS) is designed to provide the basics of two-dimensional graphic design, using the computer as the design medium.The prerequisite for this course is Fundamentals of Art or teacher approval. . Students will infuse the elements and principals of art while using painting, drawing, illustration, and graphic arts software programs to create works of art. Students need not have a compatible computer of their own, as all assignments will be completed in class.   Course Note: This course satisfies the Fine Arts (1 credit) graduation requirement. Repeatable Course - Subsequent Enrollment Requires More Rigor.
