ESOL Elective (4X4)
In this semester long ESOL elective course, English language learners (ELLs) will receive additional supports in the development of English language skills in the domains of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Students will also receive supports in the academic language of other content areas, to include, but not be limited to, math, science, social studies, and English language arts. This course is repeatable, as needed, to ensure that ELLs have equitable access to the DoDEA College and Career Ready Standards across the curriculum. This course is open to any 9-12 student identified as an ELL, ELP Levels I-V. This satisfies 0.5 credit towards elective credit.
