Health Science I
The Health Science I (year-long) course develops students’ personal qualities, communication skills, and basic health care skills for application to a career in the health care profession. The course integrates understanding of body systems and diseases and disorders, legal and ethical boundaries within a healthcare environment, infection control and healthy behaviors.Students successfully completing this course (and Health Science II) may be eligible to take Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) exam. Course Note: This course satisfies the Career Technical Education (1 of 1.5 credit) graduation requirement.
