The Humanities course (9 weeks; 1st or 3rd Quarter) 'wheel' course for students in Grades 6-8 is designed to be an interdisciplinary study of history, literature, language, philosophy, the visual arts, theatre, dance, and music. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, creativity, and the rights and responsibilities of the individual in a society. Students engage in activities that focus on theater, music, visual arts, dance, architecture, film, and television.
