DoDEA’s Information Centers provide a diverse collection of books and digital resources that are aligned to the curriculum and fosters the love of reading. Students are encouraged to visit and check out materials during the school day. Digital resources can be accessed at school and from home.
The Information Center has many databases that support research, independent learning, and inquiry. To access the databases outside of school, you will need a user name and password; please see your school information specialist for this information.
The DoDEA Virtual High School eLibrary collection includes non-fiction eBook titles and curriculum reference materials selected specifically to support DVHS curriculum and instruction. A link to the DVHS eLibrary is provided in every course.
Teachers can use these materials when planning instruction, and students may use them to supplement their learning or pursue further interests within the content area they are studying. Due to product licensing and subscription requirements, only DVHS students are authorized to use the DVHS eLibrary. For more information, please contact your DVHS teacher or local facilitator.
