Dear DoDEA Pacific Region Employees,

The 2024-25 school year is here!

To our new DoDEA Pacific Region educators, welcome! Whether you are joining us in Guam, Korea, mainland Japan or Okinawa, you are joining an incredible team of professionals. To our returning staff members, welcome back! I hope you had an opportunity to rest, relax, and recharge during summer break.

We have much to look forward this school year, including the launch of Universal Prekindergarten on September 4 at every primary school in the region, the expansion of the Pacific Student Transition Program to every school, and continued implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports to ensure we meet the needs of every student, every day, everywhere.

This week, we come together as educators to engage in professional learning, collaborate with colleagues, and prepare classrooms to greet students on Opening Day.

Thank you for your commitment to educating our military-connected children here in the Pacific. The work you do is important, valued, and most of all – makes a difference.
