2nd Semester Enrollment Window - Virtual School

To begin the 2020-21 school year, DoDEA offered families an option between starting the year with in-person instruction back in our schools or as full-time students in the DoDEA Virtual School. This Virtual School option was for students and families with health vulnerabilities or those who were concerned about returning to in-person instruction. All families were asked to make a semester-long commitment to the option they chose.

For second semester, DoDEA will again provide families the opportunity to enroll in the full-time Virtual School or to opt for in-person instruction. This will again be a semester-long commitment. The enrollment period for second semester opens on Thursday, October 15th and is scheduled to close on Friday, November 6th. This 3-week period will allow for parents with students in the Virtual School to receive first quarter report cards and participate in a parent-teacher-conference prior to making a decision for the second semester.

We ask that all families, once you have come to a decision regarding each student’s choice for the second semester, register for that option using the DoDEA Aspen Family Portal. Parents must make a selection for each student using their unique Login ID and Password.
