College Board Recognizes DoDEA Americas Counselor

A Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Americas counselor was recognized by College Board during the 2020 National School Counseling Week.

Stacy Daniels, a Fort Campbell school counselor, was honored through the College Board Counselor Recognition Program. This program highlights the important work of innovative, results-oriented middle and high school counselors who exemplify excellence and commitment to student's opportunity and success. As part of the recognition, counselors will be profiled on the College Board's website and receive an exclusive Counselor Recognition Program Lapel pin.

For applicants to be eligible for the College Board Counselor Recognition Program, the counselor has to provide direct guidance and counseling services for a caseload of students and their families; and be a master’s degree-level educator-serving as a full-time middle or high school counselor in a public, private, or independent school.
