The Department of Defense Education Activity - Pacific will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 at E.J. King Middle High School, located at Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo.

The $54.5 million E.J. King Middle High School project included a new three-story high school building as well as renovations to an existing three-story classroom building. A new commons area and information center were completed as part of the project, as well as outfitting the facility with new furnishings.

“E.J. King Middle High School has a long history of serving the military-connected students and families at CFAS,” said Dr. Jacqueline Ferguson, DoDEA Pacific East District Superintendent. “With the renovations and additions to the facility, we will be able to continue to provide a high-quality educational environment for military-connected students stationed at CFAS for many years to come.”
