It updates the system-wide advanced academic program, establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and implements procedures for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Advanced Academic Program and Services (AAPS) for grades Kindergarten (K)-5/6 in accordance with DoD Directive 1342.20.
