Message from the Pacific Region Director

DoDEA Pacific is excited to welcome students back to school for the 2023-24 school year! DoDEA Pacific serves approximately 21,000 military-connected students, with 45 schools located in Guam, Korea, mainland Japan and Okinawa.

At DoDEA, military-connected students are at the heart of all we do. We understand the unique opportunities and challenges that impact military-connected children, with numerous resources and supports in place to support every student, every day, everywhere.

If your student will be attending DoDEA Pacific schools for the first time, know that our teachers and administrators will be there for you and your student to ensure a smooth transition and integration into their new school community.  As military-connected children, all our students have shared experiences of moving to new places, making news friends, and attending a new school. In the Pacific, our students in Japan and Korea can engage in Host Nation cultural and language courses to enhance their understanding living and learning in the overseas environment.
