Educate, engage, and empower each student to succeed in a dynamic world. As a part of Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), the Non-Department of Defense Schools Program (NDSP) adopts the DoDEA mission and vision statement.
To be among the world's leaders in education, enriching the lives of military-connected students and the communities in which they live.
To provide support to facilitate continuity of education in international locations.
Grant Program: The DoDEA Grant Program provides resources and support to military-connected public-school districts across the United States, resulting in robust educational opportunities for military-connected students.
DoD Impact Aid: DoDEA administers Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Aid programs. This funding reimburses public school districts that meet specific eligibility criteria.
Special Arrangements: DoDEA has oversight of seven contracts in four locations providing a cohesive and comprehensive PreK-Grade 12 education to military-connected students who reside on military installation in three locations in the United States, and for families who are assigned outside of the commuting zone of the DoDEA Schools in Puerto Rico.
Non DoD School Program (NDSP): DoDEA provides educational support and financial assistance to families assigned to international locations where there is no DoDEA school.
Education Connections: The DoDEA Partnership and Resources Division serves as both a catalyst to integrate existing educational efforts and an entity to champion quality education opportunities for all military children. The resources shared are based on decades of work with military-connected agencies, public and private not for profit organizations, and our direct work with families.
We stand ready to provide support and information for military families, educators and the students themselves. We invite you to get in touch at any time at email@example.com and we’ll do our best to connect you with the resources to support your unique situation.
