Vision

We will leverage technology and innovation to provide military-connected students with a responsive education.

During the next 5 years:

• DoWEA Virtual School will continue to provide high quality standards-based courses to military connected students through its worldwide programs. It will increase its capacity to offer courses for content acceleration for identified students.
• Educational Technology will promote and support innovative practices as an essential component of digital teaching, leading, and learning in DoWEA.
• Information Center programs and resources will be embedded into curricula and essential to each student’s educational experience.  
• Instructional Design Services Branch will incorporate innovative practices that provide exemplary virtual learning experiences for students and educators.
