This Issuance is comprised of multiple volumes, each containing its own purpose. In accordance with DoD Instruction 2000.12 and Volume 1 of DoD Instruction O-2000.16, this Issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for managing and executing the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) force protection program, hereafter referred to as “protection program” in this Issuance. This volume identifies requirements, assigns, and addresses procedures for implementing DoD Antiterrorism (AT) standards.
