DoDEA Family Portal

The DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) Family Portal will be unavailable from Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 pm ET until Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 pm ET. Parents and students will not be able to access the system or register students during this time. Registration will resume when the system is reopened on July 10.

Ashley Melton graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2009. After a year working as a teacher in Indiana, she accepted a teaching position with the Department of Defense Education Activity at Camp Lejeune, NC.

Ms. Melton has taught kindergarten, first, third, and fifth grade during her tenure. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as the Secretary for Lejeune Education Association. Ms. Melton utilizes technology to empower students to reach their full potential and provides students with a variety of project based learning activities. Her commitment to excellence propelled her to become a major contributor in the development of district wide assessments and the data collection system.

Ms. Melton is consistently sought out for her expertise with Google for Education, Smartboard, and other technology platforms. Currently, she is working towards a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
