Lizbeth Jaeger conducts student registration for the school bus commuting service for the DoDEA Pacific South District. She assists in assigning bus routes and stops for 6,000+ students.
Jaeger monitors the issuance of school bus passes and maintains records of students riding each bus. She collects and compiles student statistical data and participates in forecasting transportation requirements. Her major duties include the bus service coordination of over 100 special education students and other tasks as required.
Jaeger participated in two different Technical Evaluation Boards for the Pacific South Student Transportation Office working over 100+ hours overtime.
Due to last-minute changes on the Extended School Year program, Jaeger worked 40+ hours over the weekend to ensure all families, and teachers, were informed about bus schedules for the first day of the program.
Coordinating with the 18th Security Forces, Jaeger networked and led efforts to secure extended hours of Kadena Air Base Gate 5 for the 2021-22 school year. This allowed for the efficient pickup and drop off of 1,400 students which resulted in cutting 45 minutes off the current routes making it a win-win for students and schools.
Jaeger has established herself as an essential part of the Pacific Student Transportation team. She swiftly and accurately completes tasks and continues to push herself for professional growth.
