Andrew Rynberg Named Caribbean Community Superintendent

San Juan, Puerto Rico —
San Juan, Puerto Rico – Mr. Kent Worford, Superintendent Mid Atlantic District, announces that Dr. Andrew Rynberg has been selected as the Caribbean Community Superintendent.
Rynberg's 26-year career encompassed various educational leadership roles, including elementary, middle, high school, and alternative education, starting as a high school teacher. He has degrees in Munitions, Business Management, Accounting, Curriculum & Instruction, and K12 School Leadership and has a diverse educational background.
His professional journey includes service in the Air Force and roles at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Recently, he served as DoDEA's Community Superintendent for Europe East DSO in Kaiserslautern DE, and Europe West DSO in Feltwell, UK.
Previously, Rynberg was Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for the School District of Indian River County (SDIRC) in Vero Beach, Florida, overseeing 26 schools, 1,200 teachers, and 18,000 students. He also collaborated with the Michigan State Universities Office of K12 Outreach, providing instructional and leadership support for hundreds of schools.
His extensive leadership and instructional coaching training from Michigan State University and the University of Florida equips him to support the instructional capacity of school leaders and staff.
As Caribbean Community Superintendent, Rynberg will focus on students' social, emotional, and academic needs, provide strong leadership, and ensure the highest quality education for all.
