DoDEA Europe Announces Kaiserslautern/Ramstein District Community Superintendent

Sembach, Germany —

Dr. Michelle Howard-Brahaney, Department of Defense Education Activity – Europe Director for Student Excellence, announces that Dr. Wanda Bradley was selected as the next community superintendent in Kaiserslautern/Ramstein DoDEA-Europe’s Central District. “Dr. Bradley is a proven leader and professional. I am proud to announce her selection to this important position,” said Dr. Howard-Brahaney.

Bradley has been in the field of education for twenty-six years, twenty-one of which have been in administration. Most recently, Bradley served as the DoDEA Rota Middle High School Principal in Spain

She began her career in education as a paraprofessional, then went on to become a teacher in Biloxi, MS. Bradley's journey as a school leader started when she became an assistant principal at North Bay Elementary, MS. After serving as an assistant principal for three and a half years, she became the principal of Gaston Point Elementary in Gulfport, MS. In 2009, Bradley joined the Department of Defense Education Activity, where she served as Pierce Elementary and Scott Middle School's principal at Fort Knox.

In 2013, Bradley joined the Pacific West District, where she was the principal of several schools, including Casey Elementary/Middle School and Seoul American Middle Schools in Korea, until their closures in 2016 and 2018, respectively. In 2018, she joined Osan Elementary and later became the instructional leader of Osan Middle High School.

Bradley holds academic degrees in Economics and Accounting, Elementary Education, and a Specialist and a Doctorate in Psychology and Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is actively involved in various community service and professional organizations. She participated in DoDEA's Leadership Institute and is a founding fellow of the University of Southern Mississippi's Center for School Leadership. Bradley's greatest joy is being the proud mother of two exceptional children, Krista and Myles.
