Mr. Williams is excited to get to know the DODEA Pacific South District.

“I’m genuinely excited about this new opportunity,” Williams said. “I look forward to developing relationships with stakeholders and building upon Pacific South’s established reputation for student success.”

Mr. Williams brings 19 years of experience within DoDEA to the position. A South Carolina native, he began his DoDEA career as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher at Matthew C. Mr. Williams has served principalships at Osan Middle High School, Seoul American Middle/High School, and Seoul American High School in South Korea, as well as held assistant principal positions at Aviano and Sigonella Middle High Schools. Most recently, Mr. Williams was based at Yokota Air Base in Japan where he served as community superintendent for the DODEA Pacific East District.

“Mr. Williams will be an asset to Pacific South," Dr. Hayes said. “His background in education includes serving in various capacities at the school and district levels. In each position, he has positively impacted military-connected students and ensured their access to student-centered, standards-based, data-driven instruction.”

Mr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology and Human Resource Development from Clemson University in 2002 and his Master of Arts in Education/Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2009.
