Dr. Angelique Lamonski Appointed

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. —

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – Dr. Judith Minor, Americas Director of Student Excellence, is delighted to announce that Dr. Angelique Lamonski has been selected as the Americas Region Chief of Staff.

Dr. Lamonski brings over two decades of invaluable experience within the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) system to this significant role. Her journey in the education sector began with teaching, spanning various grades and subjects in Colorado, New York, Kansas, and Georgia.

In her career with DoDEA, Dr. Lamonski has held various leadership roles, including Assistant Principal and Principal at Fort Moore, Georgia, in addition to serving at Baumholder, Bitburg, and Spangdahlem, Germany. Before her appointment as the Americas Region Chief of Staff, she excelled as the Professional Learning Instructional Systems Specialist in West Point, New York, and then as the Mid-Atlantic District Chief of Staff.

Dr. Lamonski is a highly qualified educator with a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts and Elementary Education from Adams State College, a Master of Science in Education from St. Bonaventure University, and a Doctorate of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University.

Her contributions to education have been recognized through several awards, including the DoDEA Georgia/Alabama Teacher of the Year, the "Woman of Distinction" title from the Columbus, Georgia Optimist International Club, and the Dr. Mary E. Walker Forces Command Certificate of Achievement.

With a personal connection to the military community, as her father served in the Marines and Air Force, and three children actively serving in the military, Dr. Lamonski brings a unique perspective to her role. She is known for her commitment to educational excellence, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and attentively addressing the diverse needs of students and families.

In her new role as Americas Region Chief of Staff, Dr. Lamonski is poised to continue her dedication to enhancing the educational experiences and outcomes for students across the region.
