Publication of DoDEA Administrative Instruction 1020.01 Anti-Harassment Program

This Issuance was signed on July 9, 2025, and is effective on July 13, 2025. In accordance with DoD Instruction 1020.04, this Issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and implements procedures to recognize, prevent, and respond to harassment as defined by this Issuance among DoDEA employees in the workplace. The Issuance establishes processes for receiving, investigating, responding to, and tracking harassment allegations. The Issuance outlines anti-harassment training requirements as well as distinguishes the difference between harassment that detracts from an efficient and effective workplace and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) allegations of unlawful discriminatory harassment. Publication of DoDEA Administration Instruction 1443.01 Civil Rights Program and Compliance

It establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and implements procedures to reasonably prevent and lawfully respond to and resolve unlawful discrimination in DoDEA- conducted and/or sponsored education and training programs and activities in accordance with Executive Order (EO) 13160, referred to in this Issuance as EO 13160. Publication of DoDEA Administrative Instruction 5050.04 Travel Accommodations

This Issuance was signed on May 14th, 2025. It establishes policy and processes governing travel accommodations. A travel accommodation may be required for a disability, special need, or specific type of "other purpose." A travel accommodation is considered when supporting documentation indicates Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) standard seating options are not appropriate. This Issuance was approved on April 30, 2025. It is composed of multiple volumes, each containing its own purpose. In accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 2000.12, Volume 1 of DoD Instruction O-2000.16, and DoD Regulation 5200.08-R, this Issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for managing and executing the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) force protection program. This volume establishes DoDEA antiterrorism (AT) and physical security requirements and addresses DoD AT standards in accordance with Volume 1 of DoD Instruction O-2000.16. This Issuance was approved on April 4, 2025. It establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides direction for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Comprehensive Assessment System (DoDEA-CAS).The DoDEA-CAS is administered system-wide throughout DoDEA to measure student academic status, progress, and performance in relation to the DoDEA College and Career Ready Standards (CCRS) and to provide a source of information for decision-makers concerning continuous improvement and accountability of programs and services.  Please contact the Research, Accountability, and Evaluation Division with any questions.
