Learn about a fun and inspiring challenge for elementary school students and families!

"Mission: Back to School" is a four-week adventure designed to help you prepare, connect, and get excited for the first day of school.
Each week features a new mission with an objective designed to promote academic engagement while building confidence, sparking curiosity, and bringing families together.

Week 1
Operation: Reading Passport
Recruits, get your passports ready! This week, you’ll create your very own reading passport and collect a stamp each time you finish a new story. Whether you're exploring magical lands or real-life adventures, every page is a new destination.
Bonus fun: take turns being the “passport officer” in your family!

Week 2
STEM Challenge: Build a Fort
Attention, recruits! This week’s challenge is all about creativity and construction. Design and build a top-secret fort using materials from your home base. Bonus points for drawing up a blueprint and explaining your engineering strategy to your team!

Week 3
Pen Pal Patrol
Recruits, it’s time to report for communication duty! Your mission: write a letter or draw a picture to send to a friend or family member. Share a fun fact about your summer and discover the power of your words

Week 4
Operation: Family Chef
This week, recruits will report to the kitchen for a delicious assignment! Team up with your family to cook a meal or snack while practicing key skills like reading, measuring, and following directions. Don’t forget to document your creation in a mini recipe book—complete with illustrations!
