DoDEA Pacific publishes SUN 50

DoDEA Pacific is proud to announce the publication of SUN 50, the 50^th anniversary of the region’s annual compilation of student works.

This year’s edition features 436 written works and artworks, including drawings, digital art, paintings, photography, poems, ceramics, and more.

The first edition of the SUN was published in April of 1975. The 171 entries printed in the first publication were selected out of 5,000 original submissions from students and staff members. Each successive year the publication was expanded. In 1980, SUN 6 included entries by over 500 individuals. Since 1980, the SUN has continued to publish approximately 500 entries each year and a total of more than 16,000 creative works have been included on its pages.
