Mr. Vincent Power, Principal, M.C. Perry High School

Iwakuni, Japan —

Mr. Power has had the pleasure of serving in DoDEA for five years. He spent the last four years in Stuttgart, Germany and a year in Brussels, Belgium. In his 12 years prior to DoDEA, Mr. Power worked as a teacher, administrator, technology integration leader, adjunct professor, and data and technology specialist. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving four years in Cheyenne, Wyoming ensuring the security of nuclear weapons.

Mr. Power earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in English Literature. He also has a graduate degree in Educational Leadership and a post-graduate degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.

As a veteran, Mr. Power is passionate about serving our military-connected families and their students. He firmly believes that DoDEA serves the best students in the world. It is his mission to educate, engage, and empower the students in Iwakuni.

Mr. Power and his wife and two children are very excited to come to MCAS Iwakuni. He looks forward to engaging with the community, exploring Japan, and learning about the local Japanese culture. Most importantly, he is very excited to serve the students at M.C. Perry High School and looks forward to an amazing school year.
