Mrs. Chi Anne McGrew named new principal for Kessler Elementary School at Fort Stewart

Fort Stewart, GA —
Brian Perry, Department of Defense Education Activity Community Superintendent for South Carolina and Fort Stewart, is pleased to announce Mrs. Chi Anne McGrew as the new principal for Kessler Elementary School at Fort Stewart, Georgia. McGrew will assume her duties on July 16, 2023.
"Mrs. McGrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experiences that will greatly benefit the students and staff at Kessler Elementary School. Specifically, her experiences as an effective teacher and a school leader will be a great asset to our team." Perry said.
McGrew earned her Master of Science in School Administration from the University of Central Missouri and an Education Specialist Degree in Human Services/Learning Resources, specializing as a certified Library Media Specialist. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science in Integrating Technology in the Classroom from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a focus on Social Sciences and English from Kansas State University.
McGrew has over 20 years of experience as an educational leader in various settings. She served as the Assistant Principal at SHAPE American Elementary School in Belgium and the Information Specialist at Faith Middle School in Fort Moore, GA. She has also taught at Tabb Middle School in Yorktown, VA, Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly, NJ, and Tattnall County High School in Tattnall County, GA.

I am eager to collaborate with students, staff, and parents to foster a supportive and inspiring learning environment that empowers every student to reach their full potential." McGrew said.
