Ms. Allison Peltz selected as Principal at Bahrain ES

Dr. Jeff Arrington, DoDEA Europe South District Superintendent, is pleased to announce the selection of Ms. Allison Peltz as the Principal of Bahrain Elementary School. Ms. Peltz most recently served as the Principal of Vicenza Elementary School. With over 33 years of dedicated service to DoDEA students, she has held roles as a teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal in Korea, Okinawa, Germany, and Italy. Ms. Peltz is now looking forward to serving the children of families stationed in Bahrain. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Music Education from McNeese State University, as well as a Master of Education from the College of New Jersey. Ms. Peltz has a strong background in professional development and school improvement and is renowned for her ability to build and support leadership capacity among staff. In 2021, she was honored as the DoDEA Europe Principal of the Year, and under her leadership, Vicenza Elementary was recognized as a 2023 Exemplary High Performing National Blue Ribbon School. As the child of a military member, Ms. Peltz understands the unique challenges posed by deployments and frequent relocations. She believes it is essential for students to feel safe, cared for, and experience stability at school. Ms. Peltz is committed to maintaining open lines of communication with staff and actively supports all initiatives that benefit students. Her door is always open to students, parents, community members, and school faculty and staff. Ms. Peltz is deeply honored and excited to serve the Bahrain community.
