Superintendent Message

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to all new and returning families to what promises to be a fantastic school year! This school year will bring more excitement and opportunities for success than ever before as we continue transitioning to the College and Career Ready Standards. We want to ensure that our military-connected students are prepared for college, career, and life after school and have the required 21st century critical thinking skills to compete in a global economy. We will focus on our vision of having a world class learning community with consistent improved achievement across all levels. This requires that we prepare students for jobs that do not yet exist, using technologies that have not yet been invented, in order to solve problems we do not even know are problems yet. We want to provide the best education possible for the children of our families who serve our country.

Student success also requires open, two-way communication between the home and school. It is important that you attend parent/teacher conferences and maintain regular contact with your child's teachers. If you have questions or concerns, contact your child's teacher to arrange a meeting to discuss.

Having true partnerships among the school, home, and community is very important. The schools have opportunities to volunteer in a variety of areas that meet your particular interests. We encourage you to join and participate in the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) that supports our students in many ways.
