The DoDEA Teacher of the Year Program is designed to recognize and honor our outstanding teachers who exemplify the quality professionalism of our teaching work force.

Ada Debien is currently teaching 4th Grade at Roosevelt Roads Elementary School, Puerto Rico.

Ms. Guignon has 13 years teaching experience and has taught in DoDEA schools since 1997. In addition to her present assignment, she has had assignments in DoDEA schools as a Gifted Resource Teacher at Berkeley Manor Elementary School at Camp Lejeune, N.C. and again at Seoul American Elementary School as a Gifted Resource Teacher from 1997-2000.

Alberta Clemmer currently teaches English and Humanities at A.T. Mahan High School, in Keflavik, Iceland. She received her B.A. in English and Humanities from the University of Northern Colorado, and is working toward an M.S. Ph. D. at Portland State...

Ms. Rozanski has 10 years of teaching experience, and for the past 6 years, she has taught music and social studies to middle school students in Germany. Prior to joining DoDEA, Ms. Rozanski taught at Emerald Hills Elementary School in Bonney Lake, Wash.

Allyson Snowden is a Special Education teacher at Kadena Middle School where she has taught for the past five years.

Snowden holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science from the University of Maryland and Master of Arts in Teaching Educational Technology from National University La Jolla, California.

Dr. Alysia Durham began her career in education as a middle school math teacher at P.A.S.S. Academy, an alternative school in Dothan, AL. Due to her husband's occupation as a pilot in the United States Army, she has moved several times since the beginning of her career in 2007. She is currently completing her twelfth year of teaching, at Fort Campbell High School in Fort Campbell, KY.
