Regions

Overview

DoWEA is comprised of a Headquarters and 3 geographic regions within the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). DoWEA Headquarters located in Alexandria, Virginia; DoWEA Americas with a regional office in Peachtree City, Georgia; DoWEA Europe with a regional Office in Sembach, Germany; and DoWEA Pacific with a regional office in Okinawa, Japan.

DoWEA Regional Resource Management Branches provide resources for the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of necessary resources to support the educational requirements of students specific to each region.

 

Each Region Resource Management Branch is an entity of the Forward Integrated Support Team (FIST) which provides necessary financial resources to the regions, districts, and schools supporting our teachers and administration with resources to lead our students in educational excellence. Resources provide support daily academic activities, transportation, facility utilities and outfitting, supplies and equipment, and student academic and athletic travels.
