Time & Labor Operations

Overview

The Time and Labor Operations Branch supports accurate timecard documentation, certification for timely payment, and facilitate miscellaneous earnings payments. Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) assist by:

  • Providing assistance through the Global Service Desk for self-service employees. 
  • Assisting Super Timekeepers managing school-level timecards. 
  • Answering pay-related questions to all employees. 
  • Serving as a liaison with CHRA and DFAS to ensure accurate payments are documented and received. 
  • Processing earnings payments for all DoDEA employees 

Time & Attendance

DoDEA employees are either self-service users (above-school level) or have a Super Timekeeper enter their time in the system based on signed hardcopy timesheets (school level).

  • Answering questions to all employees regarding pay issues.
  • Serving as a liaison with CHRA and DFAS to ensure accurate payments are documented and received.
  • Processing earnings payments for all DoDEA employees

Timecard Entry

DoDEA employees are either self-service users (above-school level) or have a Super Timekeeper enter their time in the system based on signed hardcopy timesheets (school level).

*If an employee is using any of the following leave, the employee, in coordination with the supervisor, must obtain pre-approval from Human Resources then provide the approval documentation through a Global Service Desk ticket for processing by a CSR.  The self- service employee/Super Timekeeper is then responsible for accurate timecard entry.

  • Parental Leave
  • Voluntary Leave Transfer Program (VLTP)
  • Disabled Veteran Leave
  • Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Advanced Leave
  • Leave without pay (LWOP) longer than 30 days
